Then we continue on the highway passing through rice fields until we reach charming Uttaradit. It is a small city near Lampang and a few kilometers away from Denchai. Very few tourists come here to visit the area, but Uttaradit city and its surroundings are worth coming to. If you want to see authentic Thailand, the one not many tourists see, you have to come here. Later you enjoy the beautiful accommodation.

Day 2. Uttaradit – Sukhothai (89 km.)

After breakfast, we leave Uttaradit riding again on backroads and passing through massive rice fields until we reach Sukhothai. A magical and memorable scene. Later you arrive at the guest house, where you enjoy the charming classic wooden Thai accommodation with a swimming pool.

Day 3. Sukhothai – Phichit - Nakhon Sawan (240 km.)

After breakfast, we leave Sukhothai riding south to Phichit, a Land of Legends and Crocodiles! According to local folklore, there was once a huge crocodile ruler who lived in a cave. It is said that upon entering the cave, all crocodiles took on a human form. Chalawan was an aggressive and power-hungry leader with a hunger for human esh. Two sisters went to the canal to play, and Chalawan fell in love with one, kidnapping her and carting her off to his cave. In his lair, Chalawan appeared to the girl in his human form, but she resisted his advances. The girl’s father was devastated and offered a large reward for anyone able to rescue his daughter and kill the fearsome crocodile king. The story tells of a skilled man, Krai Thong, who traveled to Phichit from a far-away province, determined to defeat the monstrous crocodile. He fought the beast in the water, then followed the wounded crocodile into his cave, and they fought again, with Chalawan then in human form. Krai Thong was victorious, killing Chalawan and saving the young lady. He became a local hero. Because of the local stories, there are many crocodile references throughout Phichit today.
We will visit here of course the Ho Chi Minh house, where the Vietnamese Revolution leader was living in exile for 6 years.
Lunch is served at a local restaurant at the Bueng Si Fai lake, one of Thailand´s largest lakes, where still wild crocodiles live inside.
